Product Description

A thrust ball bearing consists of a seat ring, a shaft ring, a steel ball, and a cage. There are raceways on the seat ring and shaft ring, and the steel balls roll in the raceways. The cage is used to maintain the uniform distribution of the steel balls. Unlike other types of bearings, the raceway of thrust ball bearings is parallel to the axis and is mainly used to withstand axial forces.

Thrust ball bearings transmit loads by rolling steel balls between the raceway of the seat ring and the shaft ring. When there is an axial force acting, the steel ball transfers the force from the shaft ring to the seat ring, thereby achieving the bearing of the axial load. Due to the low rolling friction resistance between the steel ball and the raceway, it can withstand axial loads while maintaining low friction loss and high rotational accuracy.

Commonly used in various mechanical equipment that needs to withstand axial loads, such as automotive transmissions and driveshafts, gearboxes and centrifuges in industrial machinery, as well as engines and landing gear in the aerospace industry. In some situations where high axial load carrying capacity is required and high-precision rotation is needed, thrust ball bearings play an important role.

The main performance parameters include rated axial load, ultimate speed, accuracy level, etc. The rated axial load determines the maximum axial force that the bearing can withstand; The maximum speed limits the performance of bearings during high-speed rotation; The accuracy level affects the rotational accuracy and operational stability of the bearing. Different application scenarios have different requirements for these parameters, which need to be selected according to specific working conditions.
